The recap of the holiday season!

Every year we are so honored to exhibit at the Grand Central Holiday Fair, and this year was not only a successful one but also full of emotion.  It truly is like we have an extended family. Though we might not get to see all of you throughout the rest of the year, catching up and getting to hear about all the happenings in your lives is something that we look forward to and makes us feel as through we mean as much to you as you to us.  We sincerely hope for a prosperous 2014 to everyone who has touched our lives!
From a business stand point, we approached this year with a newly designed booth which highlighted 8 new collections of jewelry (3 more than prior years).  The response from everyone was more exciting than we had imagined, and with more one of a kinds and fresh new designs, many of you received pieces that we feel are some of the best designs in the 13 years that The Karen Curtis Company has been in business.  Please wear them all the time, unless of course getting lots of compliments on your jewelry is something that becomes too much to handle (lol designer humor shining through).
Many people ask how our year is structured and what other events we can be found at?
Well, our next show is Mother’s Day weekend at Crafts on Columbus (located on Columbus ave. next to the museum of natural history).  This is a great outdoor show that we have been a part of for years and look forward to seeing some of you there. But wait there is another great place we can be found all year!!!  The world-wide web!!  www.KarenCurtis.com is new and improved, we also regularly update it with new jewelry collections, colorful wine stoppers, and of course lighting.  Also look for savings on your next purchase just by adding us to your favorite form of social media!  So if there is a dress in your closet in need of a dazzling accessory, a gift you need for your honey, or just dying to get your hands on a colorful piece of jewelry for an upcoming season…. now you have www.karencurtis.com as quick and easy shopping resource!  Don’t hesitate to contact us through the messenger app on the site or through email, we don’t want the personal attention we strive to provide to be lost, so Aaron or I will gladly be here year round to help assist everyone!
This holiday season would not be possible without the most fantastic venue in the world as well as an amazing staff of people making the magic of the holiday fair come to life. We would like to give special thanks to everyone at Grand Central.  The Jones Lang Lasalle team especially Connie and Laura.  The trouble shooting engineers from GCT including Jim, Carl, Joe, and Greg.  The maintenance crew for keeping everything pristine and squeaky clean. And also the security team this year who did a fantastic job with professionalism and friendliness.

Stackable Rings and Multiple Rings a trend to sink your fingers into!

_MG_4967

There are jewelry trends that are just plain classic, some that are split second fads, and then there are some that are super fun and you wonder why they ever disappeared…. “cough, cough”…. Stackable Rings!

It is so much fun and it doesn’t have to cost you a ton of money either.  For example on http://www.karencurtis.com we have stackable rings for $20 and $25.  Of course there is no limit to what you can spend but for a couple hundred bucks you can have a vast assortment of rings that you can mix and match, having countless combinations for the year.

I am going to go ahead and say there are very little limitations on what you can stack together.  Mixing metals, crystal and precious stones, lucite and traditional gold or silver…. all of these are fine.  This is a great opportunity to piece together some smaller items by your favorite designers and as long as you like all the rings you are wearing, then it will look beautiful on you.

Remember that the key to stacking is to have fun with it and change it up whenever you want!

What Celebs have jumped on board with the multiple ring thing you ask? Let see who is having more fun then everyone else accessorizing with stackable rings!

OK, So when I originally wrote this article  I threw in a picture of Miley Cyrus prior to the whole VMA public image disaster but lets keep her in here and remember what she looked like without a foam finger and before twerking with robin thicke! #Hannah Montana
